Cotton Sweaters ~ les pulls en coton

Encore un pull en coton dans ma garde-robe... OK, je suis Bretonne et j'avoue il y a des jours d'été où l'on porte son pull du matin jusqu'au soir... Mais j'ai habité à Barcelone, et je sais que même en plein été, le matin c'est agréable d'avoir son petit pull en coton pour aller au travail, et que la nuit, après une longue soirée à arpenter les ruelles du Vieux Barcelone, on apprécie sa chaleur pour rentrer à la maison. Même ici, en Caroline du Sud, j'aime bien porter un gilet en coton le matin. Dans la journée, il se porte sur les épaules, toujours prêt au cas où le vent se leverait.

Le coton a plusieurs avantages. Il régule la température du corps. Il se porte donc aussi en hiver, accompagné d'un chemisier fin: le cumul des épaisseurs aide à garder la chaleur et la finesse des matières n'entrave pas les mouvements. Parfait pour le bureau! Et mieux qu'un gros pull que vous ne pourrez pas retirer (car, évidemment, vous n'avez que votre soutien-gorge en dessous...), au cas où votre collègue a froid et qu'elle pousse le chauffage à 26°C (c'est du vécu... "Non, mais pourquoi t'as mis une robe d'été? T'as pas remarqué la gelée ce matin??) 

Le coton est aussi facile à entretenir et il ne bouge pas au fil du temps et des lavages, et ça, vu mes récents déboires avec de la laine de la même marque que ce pull, ça n'a pas de prix...

Another cotton sweater in my wardrobe... OK, I'm Breton and I confess there are summer days when you wear your sweater from morning until evening ... But I lived in Barcelona, and I know that even in the middle of summer, in the morning it's nice to have your little cotton sweater to go to work, and that at night, after a long evening walking the streets of Old Barcelona, you appreciate its warmth to go back home. Even here in South Carolina, I like to wear a cotton vest in the morning. During the day, you can have it on your shoulders, always ready in case the wind rises.

Cotton has several advantages. It regulates body temperature. It can also be worn in winter, accompanied by a thin blouse: the accumulation of thicknesses helps to keep the heat and the finesse of the materials does not hinder the movements. Perfect for the office! And better than a big sweater that you can't remove (because, of course, you only have your bra underneath...), in case your colleague is cold and she pushes the heating to 79°F (it's lived... "Why did you put on a summer dress? Didn't you notice the frost this morning??) 

Cotton is also easy to maintain and it does not move over time and washes, and that, given my recent problems with wool of the same brand as this sweater, it has no price ...
